More than 180 fire hazards have been discovered! Jingzhou Fire Department launches a special rectification action for large-scale commercial complexes

In order to implement the important instructions of General Secretary on safety production and the three-year action plan for special rectification of fire safety, implement the requirements of recent meetings of departments, bureaus, and teams, deepen the prevention and control of winter and spring fires in the city, and ensure the stability of the city's fire situation, on December 18th, the party committee members of the support team divided into 9 groups to conduct inspections and supervision of 9 large commercial complexes in our city.

The 9 large commercial complexes inspected are Kaide One Center, Shazhichuan Jingzhou Olai, Yuefang ID MALL, Ouyada Home Building Materials Square, Oaks Square, Huayuan Golden Bund, CITIC City Square, Kaifu Wanda Plaza, and CFC Fuxing Times Shopping Center.

This special inspection operation will examine the following four aspects:

One is to conduct on-site inspections on whether large-scale commercial complexes in various districts, counties, and cities have completed the standard creation work in accordance with the "List of Key Projects for the Three Year Action of Fire Safety Special Rectification" and the "Regulations on the Management of Large Commercial Complex (Trial)".

The second is to verify the implementation of the "Seven Ones" activities for large commercial complex units (conducting a fire safety self inspection, organizing a fire safety training, maintaining fire facilities, conducting a safety inspection of electrical circuits, organizing an initial fire extinguishing and emergency evacuation drill, cleaning up the fire safety management system, and making a fire safety commitment) one by one.

The third is to strengthen precision inspection, conduct in-depth and detailed inspections on key areas, prominent risks, and key links, focusing on the fire sources, power sources, combustibles that cause disasters, as well as key areas and key links such as fire separation, safety evacuation, and fire protection facilities that affect the spread and expansion of casualties.

The fourth is to strengthen linkage testing, focusing on inspecting and testing the emergency linkage response of large commercial complex management units and owners, business formats with different operating hours, security personnel and employees, micro fire stations and technical disposal teams, fire control rooms and automatic fire protection facilities, etc., using pre business hours from 9-10 o'clock, to verify and confirm the quality and effectiveness of the "Seven Ones" activities carried out by the units.

This inspection found more than 180 fire hazards of various types. The main manifestations of hidden dangers are: some stores may malfunction or stop using fire-fighting facilities due to decoration, functional adjustments, etc., and the equipment may not be repaired in a timely manner; Unauthorized change of original usage nature, blockage and occupation of fire evacuation routes; Inadequate fire safety training for employees and non-standard disposal procedures for micro fire stations; The implementation of daily fire safety inspections and patrols is not in place, the requirements for fire safety management are not high, and fire safety hazards are not eliminated in a timely manner.

Large commercial complexes are located in bustling commercial districts, with complex functions and diverse business formats, providing convenience for residents to live and travel. However, due to its large building area, complex space, large storage capacity, and dense personnel, it has become the "top priority" for urban fire prevention and control, and the "most difficult" for firefighting and rescue.
